Know Your Supply: A Black Harm Reduction Dialogue
Black communities deserve access to drug checking tools and harm reduction technology that reflects our realities. Black communities continue to face the highest overdose rates, yet drug-checking remains largely unavailable in our neighborhoods. This innovative harm reduction strategy uses tools to detect adulterants in the unregulated drug supply, helping prevent overdose and save lives.
Join NBHRN for a dialogue about what it means to bring these technologies into Black communities with care, dignity, and purpose. We'll explore the role of drug checking in harm reduction, discuss what's possible when these programs are led by us and for us, and examine funding options and support resources. This conversation is part of a broader movement to ensure Black people have access to life-saving tools and culturally grounded public health solutions.
Let's talk about building harm reduction programs that truly meet our needs. Register for the event HERE.
